Fast Company: Laporte returns to TV on Roku

An article by Erica Westly of Fast Company magazine points to the launch of TWiT video on the Roku: Web on the Big Screen Gets 13 Channels, We Will, We Will Roku!. TWiT of course didn't start on TechTV, but I'll suggest that change to the online piece.

What about all the existing TiVo users out there? I/we don't want another set-top-box. TiVo, like Roku, is the Web's back door to my TV(s).

I download and/or stream movies from Netflix, Blockbuster, and Amazon or any RSS feed on the web. I can watch Cranky Geeks video. I can listen to TWIT. Why aren't the TWIT network videos available for TiVo? Does Roku have an exclusive deal or something?

Like the old MTV commercials, I guess I have to demand it. I want my TiVo video! :-)
