24 Hours of 2015: A Benefit for UNICEF

TWiT's 24 Hours of 2015 is just a week away, and we're very excited to be raising money for UNICEF!

Please join Leo Laporte and guests for our 24-hour broadcast, starting on December 31, 2014 at 3AM Pacific. We'll be welcoming the New Year in every time zone, and we'll have correspondents joining us from all over the world. Many of our hosts will also be here in the TWiT Brick House, along with special guests, a variety of entertainment, and plenty of surprises.

TWiT's 24 Hours of 2015, our 24-hour New Year's Eve broadcast to raise money for UNICEF, is almost here!

We are still looking for correspondents in the following time zones:

  • UTC +6:00 Bangladesh, Bhutan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan
  • UTC +4:30 Afghanistan
  • UTC +3:30 Iran
  • UTC -1:00 Azores, Cape Verde
  • UTC -2:00 Trinidad, Martin Vaz, Sputh Georgia and Sandwich Islands
  • UTC -11:00 Jarvis Island, Midway Islands, US Samoa

TWiT New Year's Event - RSVP Now

Once again, TWiT will welcome the New Year in each and every time zone around the globe, starting at 3AM on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 and finishing at 3AM on Thursday, January 1, 2015.

Leo Laporte will be hosting this 24-hour extravaganza, and we will have many of our hosts with us in-studio, along with special guests, entertainment, and other surprises.
 
This year's event will also be a charity telethon to raise money for UNICEF. (We'll have more details on this, including charity auction details and a donation link, in the coming weeks).

We'll be streaming the entire event live http://live.twit.tv/ - but here are two additional ways you can participate:

Damon Wayans on Triangulation: 11/10

Damon Wayans (comedian, actor, author, and mobile app developer) is Leo Laporte's guest on Triangulation episode 175.

Damon Wayans began his career doing standup comedy in Los Angeles, and went on to co-create "In Living Color" with his brother, Keenan Ivory Wayans. Damon has also starred in movies, as well as his own sitcom, "My Wife and Kids." His first book, "Bootleg" made the New York Times Bestseller list in 1999, and in 2010 he released "Red Hats: A Novel."

His software company, Akabe5, produces mobile apps for iOS and Android, including "Flick Dat" and "Diddeo."
